Reason #1,324,789 of why I love this show.
This was a casual side conversation between Bashir and Sisko about a fellow crew member, completely unrelated to the episode’s plot, and its just so sweet.
It’s nice to know that if you’re a pregnant father-to-be on DS9, your buddies Julian and Miles will build you a hatchling pond, buy you baby clothes, and throw you a shower eagerly attended by the station’s commanding officer (who was practically beaming with joy when he found out that you were expecting).
How wonderful.

northern exposure is the weirdest show ever. the unresolved romantic tension between joel and maggie is a major component of the show and in this seemingly random episode in the middle of the season (not in a finale!) joel asks maggie out and she says okay and they kiss eventually (and in any other show this would be a huge deal right? but it’s totally subdued!), but thats only like a subplot to what the main story of the episode is which is maggie having an existential crisis about dust mites and a guy committing a crime of passion over a violin

It took me ages to catch their faces and poses, I’ve been drawing this picture for 5 days and it’s finally finished. I’m late with part 20 because of it but at least I can show you a preview I’m very happy with. Voila☺️ Thank you so much for your support! Oh-and Happy Halloween!
oh to have a silly little house like this…
the inside has to look like this.
the peasant in me just thinks how hard it’d be to clean.
